A little help with maps, navigation and your account.

Download and manage offline maps

  1. Open Settings → Map and offline maps and select your ski area.
  2. Download the package while connected. Keep the app open; Wi-Fi is recommended for large packages.
  3. Check that the map, search data and routing network are ready offline. You can pause, resume, update or remove downloads from the same screen.

Location and navigation

  1. Choose your start and finish, plan your route, then start navigation. Allow location access when prompted if you want to use your position.
  2. Foreground visual navigation is free. Voice and navigation while the phone is locked require Premium.
  3. End navigation in the app when you finish. You can manage location access in iOS Settings.

Restore a purchase

  1. Sign in to your Mountainmapper account and use the App Store account associated with the purchase.
  2. Open Settings → Premium → Restore Purchases.
  3. If access is not restored, email support with the error message. Do not send passwords or payment details.

Manage an annual subscription

  1. Open your Apple account’s subscription settings in iOS.
  2. Select Mountainmapper to manage or cancel the annual subscription before renewal. The 7-day pass does not renew automatically.

Delete your account

  1. Open Settings → Account management → Delete account.
  2. Complete re-authentication and follow the in-app confirmation steps.
  3. See the Privacy Policy for details about data handling.
